Win Green No.2, the forgotten file!

Ok, in my quest for a portrait aspect image, I overlooked this one. As with my original Win Green, I was looking for gritty/weather/B&W - the weather was nasty, very cold, wet and windy. Be interested to hear your thoughts compared to my other, portrait aspect Win Green.

RAW conversion in ACR (Photoshop CS5)

B&W in silver Efex Pro - Wet Rocks preset with contrast pushed 3 points

2 secs @ f/18, ISO 100

-1 EV to reduce sky exposure (wasn't getting Grads out in the rain)

Canon 300D

18-55mm @ 18mm

Tripod and cable release

Not enough layers

Numb fingers

Had a great time!

Yeah - I like this one better!
Seems better balanced, moody, cold, shows the bad weather!

Nice.

Thanks guys. I kept looking at this last night and am groing more and more fond of it - and it's straight out the camera and into Silver Efex Pro which pleases me.

Pleases me so much it's now a framed 12"x16" print. I'll use for my exhibition but I'm kind of hoping no one buys it

BTW printed on PermaJet Oyster 271 paper using bespoke profile - looks great!

Cheers
Andy

Cool - if they do buy it then I guess you could print another one

Spend the cash on more gear

Yes Phil, wasn't thinking, I have another box of paper so reprints wouldn't be a problem.

Hmmm, spending the profit on new kit - could do with a 17-40 f/4 L and a....

Cheers
