Permajet ICC Profiling

Has anybody had any success with Permajet ICC printer profiling?

I bought some paper with a view of using the free printer profiling that they advertise.
I downloaded the images, set photoshop according to the instructions.
Printed both images, put them in a protective envelope and posted off.
Waited 2 weeks (supposed to be 72hrs) and got nothing back.
I phoned them and they said they had not received the images.
So I did it all again - guess what, nothing back...

I wondered if anybody else has had a similar experience?

Phil

Hi Phil,

I've bought the PermaJet Oyster 271 and had no probs with the profiling - got it straight away and it works brilliantly,

Cheers
Andy

I would Phil - the profile has given so much more shadow detail than I previously got. Might be worth calling and speaking to one of them too - you never know, they may have a profile for your paper/ink/printer profile already. Ok, this isn't as exact as printing the target for them to create a bespoke one from but when I bought my paper, they looked and had one and emailed it straight through. The bespoke is slightly better but an existing could give you better results without the hassle of Royal Mail.

Cheers
Andy
