I'm trying to retrospectively do my own index but only to the pages I pre-empt I might want to go back to ... though that won't help with reviews ... but still struggling through 2008. An official & maintained one would be great! Whether on the web or the disk.

There was a brief discussion of an index over in this thread.

The long and short of it is that we have an index but it is so large and unwieldy that we're still trying to figure out how we can make it look nice and put it on the disc/in the magazine!

Its current state is as a searchable Word document and a very easily searchable Excel workbook. We'd like to turn it into a PDF but it currently sits at an epic 11 pages long! So we may need to re-think that plan.

If you'd like the Excel or Word document version, just drop an e-mail over to carly.drew@futurenet.com and I'll forward it over asap.
