You could consider hiring a camera body for a few days instead of forking out to buy a second one - there are lots of sites on the web, it can cost you anything from £50 for three days (plus refundable deposit) to a few thousand, depending on what you are shooting with. You could always add the hire of a second camera into the overall cost of shooting the wedding.

That's a good idea actually. Though I was looking for an excuse to buy a new camera.

be prepared to pay a deposit equal to the cost of the camera or lens though, you don't just pay the hire charge.

I was looking at hiring a 300mm f2.8 for something, they wanted a deposit of over £3000 repayable on return of the lens. If I had £3,000 for a deposit I'd have bought a bloody lens not hired it.
