Lee Filters are the best quality - some are glass but (I think) the majority are resin. And why are they so expensive? Hand dipped in the colouring liquid by skilled ladies (apparently the men can't get the consistency) - and that's from a very reliable source who visits their place in Andover on a regular basis. Also explains why some Big Stoppers are 9-stop and others 11-stop... And yes, it's better to get it right in camera using filters than do it on the PC - Grads can be faked in ACR/Photoshop and other programs - but Polarisers can't really be replicated - and think of the sense of joy of opening an image that needs no adjustments, just needs admiring
Now, what would I want for Christmas? Just two things - a good session in
here and Donald Trump's credit card
Cheers
