Gadget required for cable release

Once upon a time the cameras I bought had a thread on the shutter release button. Now all my cameras have a smooth chrome button and I want to use my cable release and air tube when the camera is on the tripod and a timer isn't practical. Has anyone seen anything that would do the job? It ,or they , would need to fit a Lumix compact TZ3 and/or a Lumix TZ28 bridge camera. Thanks,
Dagwood

The TZ3 apparently has no remote facility, while I can find no trace of a 'TZ28'..... sure that's the number?

Scroll down to last item. They look a little cumbersome but do the job.

AAAh! Well done Geoff - you spotted my deliberate mistake (not!) I should of course have written FZ28. The type of attachment shown in Harry's reply is the type of thing I was looking for. I didn't explain it too well in my OP. Thanks Harry! I also returned to an earlier reply re digiscoping where Chris-P suggested SRB Griturn and found they have the type of attachment needed also, though possibly more engineered. Thanks to you all.
