Sorry, completely missed this. It's a £20 set up fee. One off. No monthly subscription.

Yeah, all the printing is done at their shop up north. I forget where exactly it is now...

Yes, apparently ColorWorld are in North Shields, Tyne and Wear, wey-ay,man. It's just that, with many online companies, the printing itself does not always come from the same town or country as the Head Office.

That's the bit that's been troubling me about bulk printing via some of the "print fulfillment" sites used by wedding photographers etc..... the Head Office may be in New York but the printing's done 3000 miles away in California. Same country, yes, but I'm trying to do my 'environmentally considerate' part by trying to get everything locally produced. I've also looked at a few sites of that type in the UK but they don't often mention exactly where the printing is being done.

I checked out my local Photography Shop yesterday.... yes, they do printing in-house, up to a certain size. So I asked where the larger prints were done, plus the albums etc. The assistant had no idea and, from my experience of looking for suppliers of all that kind of stuff for wedding photographers in Ontario, I wouldn't be surprised if the orders (and therefore my money) went across to the USA.

But that's NOT to say ColorWorld have the same situation.

I'm also looking for such a site in the UK - I've used photoobx but i'm sure there must be something better.
I see this thread is quite old now and Chris-P site no longer has the option but buy prints and the ColourWorld Imaging site confusing as t what you canyually need to do and what costs are involved

Any update on suitable sites and examples of sites I could browse and see how they look.
