Kood Pro series filter holders

I read the excellent article on ND Grads in Octobers edition of Photoplus and decided I might get myself some Kood Pro series ND Grad filters and Holder. After many hours of searching on the internet however I cannot find any anywhere!! theres plenty of Kood and cokin holders but I specifically want the one shown at the foot of page 96 with the polarizer thread on the front. Yes I know Lee do the same kind of thing but I'm not willing to re-mortgage my house. And yes I know Cokin do a Z and X pro version but the article says I can get a Kood one for around £8. Its a no brainer! Anyone any ideas where I can get one?

Try Premier Ink Supplies. I have always found them very reasonable and they give good service.

Thanks for the tip Steve. I've just scoured their website and although they do have several different slot in filters and holders sadly they don't have the one I'm after. Cheers for the link anyway, I'll keep that favourited - some decent stuff there.

Si

Hi Si,

Pity that they haven't got what you want. They do provide a good service and prices are pretty good too.

Hi Red Snapper,

Glad you liked the review! You might like to give Kood a call and they can advise or direct you to the nearest stockist. You can find their contact details on their website.

Alternatively, give MorrisPhoto a call and they may be able to assist.

I Thought it was a great article too! I have now got a sqaure filter system and a set of nd grads (which are a mix of Kood and Cokin, althought the Kood are better), most of which I got from preimier ink supplies.

The Kood website is about as much damn use as an ashtray on a motorbike. They have very few pictures of anything they sell. Its a shame, as Kood make some good products but, for those that don't know about them, the website won't instill much confidence, quite the opposite in fact.

I have searched everywhere too and the only type I can find are this type, which look nothing like those featured in the article on pg96.

Hi Carly,

Thanks for replying. I've tried the website but as mentioned by amk1977 its pretty useless. I think they are basically suppliers to shops rather than the public. I'll give them a ring and see if I can find a nearby stockist. Thanks again. Si
