Nope. You'd need an adaptor. The 4/3 lens mount is nothing like the Pentax K mount.

The Olympus E series cameras probably has the widest range of adapters for using other lenses, especially old glass. I used to have the following for my old E-510 before I moved to Nikon D90.

M42 to 4/3
AD2 to 4/3 (Tamron Adaptall 2)
Nikon to 4/3
OM to 4/3
PK to 4/3 (Pentax PK mount)

There are others, like Leica R and I pretty sure there is a Minolta one too. A quick search on eBay will reveal all. You can pick up the old glass relatively cheaply.

A decent MF 50mm f/1.4 will set you back £40-£80 depending on brand. The Olympus OM's were fun to use and I really loved my Takumar/Super Takumars as well as my Chinons. ( I had a ridiculous amount of MF lenses for my E-510 lol)

A great MF portrait/Macro lens to use on the 4/3 system is the old Tamron Adaptall 2 SP90 f/2.5. Razor sharp lens. It takes 1:2 ratio macro shots on its own, but with the extension tube, that boosted it to 1:1 ratio. With the crop factor on the 4/3 system being X2, I'd get 2:1 ratio when compared to the 35mm standard and 4:1 if I used the x2 teleconverter.

I do miss that lens, although I have the AF version for the Nikon now. There was something about that hefty chunk of glass and metal that I loved.

Hi Olwen,

Sorry, no I don't have any old lenses left for sale. Have a look on eBay though, as you will find lots on there. The OM 50mm f/1.8 usually go for £15-£20, all you'll need then is an OM to 4/3 adapter. Because of the crop factor on the E series camera, you might also want to look for a 28mm f/2.8 lense which would equate to 56mm on the 35mm standard.
