Centring an A4 print

I'm using Photoshop Elements 8 and having trouble centring any print on A4 paper. I've tried following various recommended solutions that I've found on the net, but none seem to work.

Any advice/help would be much appreciated.

The Print Dialog has a "Position" section in the middle... with a check (tick) box to "Center Image". Of course, the image itself has to share the same proportions as an A4 sheet, whichever orientation it's in, otherwise you'll get blank bits at the edges (but even they'd be proportional).

Thanks Geoff. I'll look out for that and give it a try ........

Tried but nowhere on any of the printer settings can I find a Position setting. I'm pretty sure that I've now tried all the options in Elements, or am I just missing something? And I've tried printing from Photo Viewer in Windows 7 with the same result.

Perhaps I should also mention that I'm using an HP PSC1200 printer if that has any bearing.
