I want to upgrade

Hi i have been lucky and come into some money and am looking to spend some on an upgrade. I would like to go for a pro full censor Canon, and am unsure if i should go for a decent second hand 1ds or continue and save enough for a new. Can anyone offer some practical advice?

Thanks

Bill

Do you need the build and additional features of a 1Ds III? If not then for around a third of the cost you could get a full frame 5D II, which also has some features not in the older 1Ds III.

The 5D II is a better all round camera than the 1Ds III for most people.

You get all the "pro" toys of the 1Ds except the integral grip. You might even have enough left over for a shiny new lens...
