Paper with crisp blacks

I was fortunate enough a few weeks back to go to Rwanda and photograph mountain gorillas. I am now seeking the best printing paper for the prints. It is my feeling that I want a glossy paper which has a very crisp white and a deep strong black. Could readers suggest particular brands please?

You'll get the best results from your printer's own brand so it's a matter choosing the right paper-type from your printer manufacturer's range.... Canon, Epson, HP all do good ones, particularly when using the 'matching' printer. It can get tricky when using paper from one company and printer from another. I'm assuming you are printing in colour, in which case you just have to hope that your printer, and the chosen paper can do a good job with black.

(I only mention this because if you were printing in black and white you would probably find that you need to swap a black cartridge (or two).

Thanks Geoff. I'll look through the Canon range.
