Is there something wrong with my Canon battery grip for the 20d?

I just got it and it does NOT sustain my battery life it actually GREATLY reduces it! I put 2 fully charged batteries in there and it is dead in the first 20 minutes!!!!! One battery inserted in my camera without the grip will last 1-2 hours! What is the deal? I have tried it 3 or 4 times and it happens every time!

That sounds odd. I have a grip on my 450D and I forget the last time I charged the batteries! It may have been May.....

if its like my grip for the 20D it doesn't do auto off like the camera itself, so if you leave it turned on it seems to drain the battery's pretty quick.

I shouldn't worry - this was spam and we were having fun with the spammer!
