telephoto carrying harness

a question for the forum ,i use a canon 40d coupled with a canon 400mm f5.6 L lens ,this is my everday set up for wildlife ,the camera is supported by a op/tech pro camera strap which obviously uses the camera mounting points thus leaving the lens to hang down as i,m walking from one venue to another ,i think long term this is going to harm the mounting on the camera due to the weight of the lens hanging ,is there a useable harness system that utilises the lens tripod mount either as well or instead of the camera mounting points ,but is also easy to swing into position for a quick shot and is fairly cheap to purchase

They must be available I'd have thought because my Sigma 150 - 500mm came complete with one and I tend to double up as in have both camera and lens strap around my neck adjusted so that the lens strap is supporting the weight of the lens.
The old monopod comes in handy to take the weight off for a while too on a long trek !!
