Fist go at infrared

I got myself a fuji IS-1. Only just got around to trying it out . I hope you like it. Im not sure how to show pics yet hope this works

I think we can safely say you've got the hang of Infra Red.... very nice shot, though possibly a little over-bright. Unless, of course, your monitor is set a little dark.

Hi Paul,
Considering you were just 'trying out' the camera, you've come up with a very nice pic indeed. I personally love IR photography (although I prefer the monochrome look) and at present I use a Fuji S9500 with a Kood R72 filter. A couple of mono IR pics are in my gallery.
I'm interested in the IS-1 and I look forward to seeing more of your pics, if only to see what can be done with it.

p.s. Are you aware of Simon Marsdens's work? Some of his IR photos are incredible.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to look , Im glad you like the image. Stu i too love the mono stuff but i had to try the colour as im not into photoshoping images or shooting raw etc because i dont fully understand just how to do it. I used corel to do the colour channel switching. I`ll get a few more pics in my gallery when i get a moment or 2 . Thanks again Paul
