retrieving settings details from previously uploaded photos

I use a Canon EOS 400D and am quite happy uploading photographs into Photoshop Elements 7 on my PC.

However, when I post/upload them to a site such as this, I notice that other people have put in extra detail; such as what settings where used for a particular shot/together with the date taken.

Can someone please advise me how to achieve this as: a) I cannot find it and b) I cannot remember the date from earlier weeks?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should get that information for free when you upload. The only thing that might stop it is if you've tinkered with the image at all and then done a 'save for web' that will strip the information out. Ordinary 'save' or 'save as' will be O.K.
