Getting Rid of Dust

Hi there, I have a Sony 230 which has a small speck of dust, which I believe is on the sensor, which will not move after I've followed the manual cleaning instructions on a number of occasions. Can anybody recommend a foolproof method. I've been doing some research this afternoon but really I'm no further forward....Cheers

over the years I've tried most products and in my opinion this is the best. In fact it's the only method that successfully cleans my 5D.

I use the "Sensor Klear" pen as well. Never had any problems with it and I've never had a bit of dust I couldn't remove...

Another very popular option (which I'd recommend trying if the pen doesn't do it) is some Eclipse fluid and Pec-Pads. Wet cleans are a little more scary than a dry clean but they are more effective...

Thank you both for your very quick and informative replies. Think I'll be investing in one of those shortly. Cheers

+1 for the SensorKlear pen. That's all I have ever used on my 5d full-frame sensor. I use it in combo with a rocket blower. A gentle puff first, a few passes with the pen and another gentle puff to finish. Works a treat and is as cheap as chips.
