windows 7, manual manipulation of files
I have recently purchased a new custom built PC, specifically designed to make slide shows using ProShow Producer, and installed windows 7.
The operating system in my old pc was Windows X P, in which I could manipulate the photos in a folder, into any order I desired by means of drag and drop.
This drag and drop facility has apparently been designed out of windows 7 and created quite a problem for me. In order to overcome this problem, I now run both computers side by side and have two screens (wall mounted). I can now arrange the photos in the order required on the old pc.......and transfer the folder to the new pc and proceed making the slide show, using the facility in Producer to move the odd photo if required.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Incidentally, I do find having two pc's and two monitors very handy, especially when learning how to use new software .....reading the manual on one monitor and then practising using the new software on the other monitor.
