Why not - it's not something I do a lot of but it is something I'd like to do more of! They always look good in B&W as well...

Is there any way of posting from another site without all the rigmarole of going through the galleries here?

Hi Alan

Just to summarise whats in the post that Forseti linked to...

In Flickr, go to the photo and click on the all sizes icon. Once the image is open you can right click on it, select properties and copy the address from the pop up box. Then just paste that address between the [img] [/img] tags.

Looks like this:

Oh, and if you want to make it clickable to a larger version (the forum resizes anything you post so you can link to a larger version if you like), once you've gone to "all sizes" select the larger size you want to link to and copy the address for that one.

You can then use the [url=] and [/url] tags as well. It would look like this (no spaces anywhere)

[url=address][img]address[/img][/url]

Glad that it helped. I must admit I find the tags much easier to use than any of the other "tools" as you can just type them in as you go rather than fiddling around with the buttons.

To stay within Flickr TOS you need to link back to the photo page on their site. It's rare, but I have known of a couple of people to lose accounts for not doing it.

The form on this page will make the conversion of Flickr image links to forum BB code easier by doing it for you:
