Someone's asking the same question on another forum and they suggest that there's a very limited choice available, and have asked about the same 2 as here.

That may be me that asked lol. This laptop is for my son via the Home Choice scheme, so we are very limited in the choice of models. If needs be, for colour adjustments of photo's my son could probably use my desktop which has a calibrated screen etc. But it would be for clolour adjustments only as I use my desktop most of the time. He will also have an external hard disk on which he can store photo's. Hopefully this will keep his laptop disk pretty well clear to be used as necessary by photoshop.

FWIW - I don't think you're going to like Win-7 and PSCS4 with only 1Gig of ram.

Hi
I would suggest TOSHIBA.I worked in there and quality is superb, you can expect 100% total reliability, if you want to have it wireless its possible, it has a mini PCI that can connect to wireless as well as with connection at home. Your money will be worth buying toshiba

Personally I would suggest the Samsung. I have an R20 at the moment and alothough it's getting pretty dated and in need of replacing now, it's served me well and has an amazing screen.

As I understand it, Samsung supply other manufacturers with their screens for Laptops and TVs, including the highly regarded Sony's. I was blown away with the quality and it's the reason I will definitely be going Samsung again with my replacement. The specs are similar so of course the decision is yours but with the dual core processor and the quality of the screen, it would be Samsung all the way for me.
