the Nikon 28-70mm 2.8 (a little problem)

I was shooting a local equestrian event today and was using my 28-70mm 2.8 and I was taking pictures on tiff format and took them though out the day when ive come back to see the images the apper to be a little soft and not sharp and as you could expect in tiff they would be has anbody else expirenced this if so how did you solve it? p.s i was also taking pictures as the same iso and suhtter speed with my 70-200mm any they are fine so it wasnt that i was shooting into the sun or anything like that, so if anybody has any advice please reply.

thanks

milky

Hi Milky,

I cant offer any reason for the softness on that particular shoot, although a lens as sharp as that surely shouldnt be happening. As Im about to take delivery of a 28-70mm tomorrow i hope its not a lens problem! Generally do you get sharp images from it? Has the problem re occurred since?

Regards

Stu
