There isn't a single best way. But http://strobist.blogspot.com/ can help you find a few ways that may help you achieve what you want.

try this link too .http://web.canon.jp/imaging/flashwork/index.html you have lots of options using master and slave groups But will need one of the 580's on camera I believe unless you invested in a speedlight transmitter

Or how about these http://www.pocketwizard.com/products...iver/36/TT1-C/ - not cheap but supposedly very good. There's even a few video tutorials on the site demonstrating how they should be used and what they are capable of.

Forseti is always trying to spend your money. Hit eBay and search for RF-602 made by Yongnuo, super bit of kit. If these are too expensive try searching for PT-04 - but make sure you are buying ones made by Yongnuo or Godox, the others can be a bit erratic.

I use Godox PT-04s mostly. Never misfired. That's never. OK only over the past nine months, but that's hundreds of shots.

Loads of people in Leeds Flickr use the YongnouRF 602 as H usggests and report perfect operation - except maybe with some studio lights at times - got to be worth the money.
