badgers and farming

I am keen to shoot an environmental reportage photo-essay focussing on badgers and their proximity to farms and farming.

Technically this will be quite a stretch for me and I would be grateful for any guidance people can give me.

Do you know of any rural location in the Yorkshire area where such a shoot might be possible?

What sort of equipment would be ideal and can I hire it? (I currently use a Sony A200 and a variety of Sony and Minolta lenses, but have no significant flash equipment).

Wink

I would advise a lens with a good reach at least 400-500mm, keep down wind when you find your badger set, don't us flash as this will scare them, I would contact any group in your area who are attempting to protect these animals, they will know where the sets are and how to approach, good luck.
