Chat Thread Proverb or Saying - 15th - 17th January 2010

After throwing around a couple of ideas I came back to an old much used one.
Give us a picture that demonstrates a proverb or well known saying. To make it interesting just post the picture and get people guessing initially BUT make sure you PM me the title before I set the poll up on Monday please.To help here is a link to some of the potential sayings:
http://www.learn-english-today.com/P.../proverbs.html
or do a google yourself for more- thousands out there so no excuse.

Usual rules apply:
Any amount of processing, all elements of the shot must be taken between Friday 15th and midnight Sunday 17th January 2010.
All entries to be uploaded to the entries thread by 12 noon GMT on Monday 18th January 2010. Entries thread can be found here:

So - thinking caps on and lets see some great images again. The world is your lobster as Del Boy would have said.

I'm grateful you posted this subject early enough, to give me a chance to get a cog turning in time Paul.

Thank you Carol

It was a lucky day, as the little Black Cap had knocked itself out on a upstairs window and was then rescued from the jaws of a dog. No doubt it still had a headache - enough to rest quietly in the hand (while I took a picture or two with my free hand ) before flying off the following morning.

Here's an oldie from me back from the days of the comp on the old DCMag site.

It was a lifesize iron piggy bank precariously perched on a sturdy lampstand*, or so I thought until it fell over and nearly crushed me!

* removed in Photoshop

I've got my idea, now all I need are the props . . with a bit of luck I can nail this one, the CC and my regular Flickr challenge all in one shot. That'd be a first.

I'd like to ask about the rules and how they relate to an image like the flying pig. Although the wings don't look as they were photographed, this would require at least three images - pig, wings & background. Do they all need to be taken over the weekend, because to do a good job it will take a couple of days sat in front of Photoshop. If they don't all need to be taken over the weekend, then which part does? The pig, the wings or both? Perhaps given the amount of Photoshop time required, the creation of the image is enough in itself?
