I'm sorry but what is the point of having a 'User Photos' section in the header? I'm sure everyone clicks on it and looks at the photos but no onw rates them. People want there pictures rated, weather they are good or bad. Out of 100 pictures recently uploaded only 3 had a rating.
In the forums we have a section called Photo critique, so why not blend the two together? Or have a dedicated admin to have a look at all pic's and give some feed back? Don't have to be much just enough to push in right direction. I know if i show my wife or son a picture i have taken with a bit of post photoshop they don't really care or have anything so say other than 'thats nice dear'. So if this is the place to be for advice,help and sometimes a pat on the back from like minded people, lets do it. Be it us, admin or a pro. Maybe admin could select some phots and once a month a pro could have a look, give some feedback and pick a winner from the shortlist? Sorry for going on a bit, i will now finish and wish all you photographers young,old, just starting out or seasoned pro all the best with your shots.
