Well done Andy, one of my top choices this week, but unfortunately not my topmost, sorry.

Thanks for the votes this week and the kind words in the reviews - gave me a bit of a boost after not getting any votes recently.

Sorry this is a bit on the tardy side:
Delamanda - More street photography - Nice images in an area I'm not at all confident with, so my hat is off to you for that. The arrangement is just a bit too staid for my liking, not that I can really advise how to do it any better, it just looks a bit too formal and geometrical. There is something, however, that seems to draw me to the top right hand picture - can't really explain it!

Ogalilly - Bogged down - my favourite this week, cracking expression and pose in a well composed and sharp shot. I also like the way it shows the alternative route people have been taking. I chose this over Beauxreflet's image because I thought it was the better photograph.

On the point of Exif data - I put a thread in about the very same topic, but didn't seem to get much of an answer. Some of the early images posted to my gallery show exif data when looked at, others do not. As far as I know I've done nothing too dissimilar with the images to warrant this effect but I may be wrong. In the replies were some pointers to software to view exif data on images off the internet, but my point really was that, on a photography website, it shouldn't be necessary to resort to such measures. Have a look and comment if you feel the same, you never know someone may listen eventually!

Cheers, Sie

Yes Sie - I thought early images showed exif data too and I do like to look at speeds / apertures used by others as part of the reviews. Really remiss of a photography site not to include them with images as loading the same images to here as Flickr results in exif data being shown in flickr but not here.
Another odd thing is that again after remembering me for weeks I have had to log in again before I can reply to this. Happens every few weeks and first time I try it says I have the wrong identity / password. 2nd time with same details I get in - what`s that all about then

I sometimes have the same problem as Paul, especially if I want to do something really odd, like look at someone's photo in the gallery.

Hope these are just small glitches (is that english ... ?) which will be solved soon.

My entry was a compiled dgital image created from 3 photographs and in that sense was not a 'Photograph' so I agree Sie.

Also, Exif data never shows on the pictures I upload because; as soon as I make a small edit to apply watermark / change image size etc., that data is removed automatically.

Accordingly, I keep the original files untouched and work with copied images - I would be quite happy to enter data as part of the entry - Perhaps we should write the Exif info in brackets after the title ? Or if the image is an HDR compilation indicate accordingly.

I would not want to get into the extra faff of writing up exif data Andy. I just think it is a poor show that a dedicated photography site does not carry exif data with the images. Nothin I do with mine strips it out - it is just not there to be seen. Given that we allow composites etc I don`t see why anyone should have to indicate whether an HDR etc unless someone asks how it was done in reviews.

Sunny here but the icicles are hanging dangerously from my guttering this morning. A guy delivered a parcel and a small one from the porch dropped on his head. Hard to apologise when you are looking him in the face and laughing your head off. I expect the law suit wil wipe the smile from my face but it was tiny and he did see the funny side. Now if it had been the 7 inch spike from the gutter I was shooting this morning he woud have been skewered !

I do not see the importance for this data beyond personal learning upon an individual camera (as maker's sensors vary so much) - I am also of the view, that as soon as you alter the image the information becomes irrelevant in relation to what you are then viewing.

i.e. Apply a Curve edit, Light temperature edit, or alter Brightness/Contrast and the original Exif data becomes misleading.

No really good icicles here at present but hopefully I can find something exciting later or tomorrow.
