This photo is of a monument near where I live in Desborough.Last week,a young soldier from our town, 19 year old Aidan Howell, was killed in a bomb explosion in Afghanistan. The monument is now a memorial for our young,local hero.
I took the photo this morning having headed out with a different idea in my head for this competition...until I saw the flowers.
