My avatar shows every time I add comments to the galleries BUT does not show when I make comments in the forums - can anybody explain what is needed to correct this. ?

This appears to be another case in point where the left does not know what the right is doing - galleries and forums not being totally compatible - for whatever reason - or is it another idiosyncrasy that we will need to live with.
