My son was short listed and a bit shocked at the winners in YPOTY he was in the second age group
To him the shots are snaps or just lucky no skill involved,
Never mind i have told him to carry on he enters local camera club EFA competition and sails away when the judges dont know his age
and he has already attended two weddings as my assistant photographer and produced images that couples have picked over mine
There is always going to be sour grapes and i do wonder how closely the YPOTY images are looked at by the judges
