I'm still not convinced by the pointed and smooth edges to the leaves in your photo. If you can check the plant again, if it has spines/thorns on the stems it's a pyracantha if not then it's a cotoneaster, possibly
Cotoneaster frigidus 'Cornubia' which seems to have a closer leaf shape to your photo -
