Hi, I agree with Nick that you should have got in closer. There's an old saying that when looking through the viewfinder an amateur will always take a step backwards as a professional will take a step forward to get closer. Remember it is better to fill the frame than leave a lot of open space around the main subject. Aim to get the head and just the chest. Everything below the diaphram is a waste (or should that be waist)
