Another possible solution

Try adjusting the advanced set up on your printer first - as most printers should be able print PDF files - consult your user manual for details - if you still have it - otherwise - all the info you need can be found in the Canon site.


Also when in that site - make certain you have downloaded the latest drivers for your printer - especially if it is the Canon Pro 9500 that you have - and not the newer MkII version.

Personally I cannot see the need to update your Adobe Reader - as suggested - as all Adobe readers , irrespective of versions - are designed to READ only (any PDF files).
That is presuming you have a version of Adobe Reader of course - if not - the suggestion has some merit - but will not in itself solve your printing problem - the solution of which almost certainly lies with the printer "set-up".

Sorry no quick fix offered here - but maybe someone "more knowledgeable" will assist.
