Thanks for the replies guy's.
Mudcrabmal - I would like to use it for a wide variety of things, landscape, wildlife, close ups etc. But as a complete novice I'm not sure that it is possible to get one camera to do all, is it possible?
I suppose I just want to get the best kit I can afford and then learn to use it properly and hopefully not have to upgrade for a long time, rather than keep upgrading as I gain experience, if that makes sense.
