Understand where you are coming from but this post has inspired me to try the close up lens attachments until I am in a position to own a dedicated Macro lens, great images for what seems not a lot of cost to add these to an existing kit lens:

The OP hasnt mentioned any budget constraints but if there are any then it could be An opportunity to practice your hobby/craft while working on aquiring all those expensive lenses. However if your budget allows you to buy them all in one go no need to consider I guess but still a good alternative point of view worth considering for the OP or others who may be on a budget.
