It's not a practical proposition to 'repair' a scratched lens. It's unlikely to be the glass itself which is scratched, it's more likely to be the coating on the lens. This is multi-layered and each layer has a specific purpose. Re-coating a lens is not economically viable either and the only real solution is to replace the scratched element, which is a job for a proper technician.
As to cost; this will depend on whether it's the large front element or the small rear element, but the difference will be minor as most of the cost will be labour. You'll need to get a quote for this, but be sure to sit down first - expect something in the region of 50% of the cost of the lens new.
Check out your household insurance. You may be covered for this sort of thing.
i had a look on amazon and ebay and that kind of stuff and they offered lens repair solutions. t's the front element of the lens that is scratched less that a millimetre deep.
