Canon 5D MKII and 7D were the cameras of choice for DSLR filmmaking, they probably still are but I haven't kept up to date with trends. Neither camera is within your budget let alone the lenses. However, there are plenty of alternatives including the Canon 550D and Panasonic models of DSLR.

Greenwing is correct, a 'video' camera may be a better alternative and cheaper. Filming with a DSLR isn't easy especially if the operator doesn't have much filming or photography experience. Video cameras can use 35mm lenses with adaptors, 'Red Rock Micro' for one.

How will you edit your footage as this is so often overlooked and it is paramount? Full HD is a lot of data, do you really need it for 'Youtube'?
