wiggwigg it's always better to post your shots directly into your thread instead of just a link as it's easier for people to view it and comment on it .

The image is very well taken with great detail and a lovely soft background that shows the butterfly off to it's best , I feel it's a bit of a shame that the right wing moved just at the wrong time and ended up slightly blurred but technically it's well exposed and the focus is spot on .

The only real down side is , no matter how good the shot is it's always going to be an image of a butterfly's backside .

As far as your schools competition goes , you'll have to go on what your teachers say but in my opinion it's not a holiday theme shot but it is a shot you took while you were on holiday ( not that that helps you much sorry ) .
