If your converting your images once there on the PC or from camera/card to PC etc then you more than likely can set the convert options to 300DPI.

I take it you shoot in RAW? Do you convert the images as there transfered to your PC? If so to what and with what.

Other option is to batch convert all to 300dpi. If you have bridge you can do this quite simply. You should have bridge if you have PS CS5.

However RAW images are normally 300dpi so I suspect that a convertion your doing somewhere is changing this to 240dpi. I remember this happening to me when converting to DNG when transferring off camera. A quick play in the convert settings fixing it.
