I second that........ best to get something to cover all the tools and features first - and that really means a book that you can have open by your computer to read and fully comprehend. After that, tutorials are fine but, as jet_kit says, tend (naturally) to completing one major editing task and expect you to understand what's going on. Even the dedicated Photoshop magazines do the same - and if you're not used to using the tools you can easily get lost and be discouraged.
