Thanks for the comments, you're right, I should have explained some more. These were all taken at Chatham Historic Dockyard. The roof is the interior of "The Big Space" which is a huge storage building - I just found the textures and shapes interesting. The 40mm rounds are in the loading rack of the Bofors gun on HMS Cavalier (a 1945 built destroyer) - point taken about the context (I plan on going back for more soon so I'll see if I can try something different with them.
The sculpture is the Destroyer Memorial, commemorating all RN destroyers and their crews from WW2 - it's a stunning piece of work and although I claim no connection to the RN and wasn't aware of the memorial before my visit I found it profoundly moving, hence the close-ups.
