Steam Trains
What do you have against the South Eastand Kent in particular. There are three lines in Kent including the Kent and East Susses Railway which takes you through some great rural scenery not seen from the Road. The there is the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch which is a 1/3 scale line running all year with a conract to take children to school.
East Sussex has one of the oldest preseved line the Bluebell.
There are great photo opportunities in Kent so please stop ignoring it.
