Readers might be interested to know of an ongoing issue with Adobes customer service centre which I presume is in Asia somewhere.
I purchased Lightroom 3 a month before the release of Lightroom 4 and made the not unreasonable request for a complimentary upgrade. They have refused because my proof of purchase isn't formatted how they want it.
They expect receipts from places such as PC World to contain your name and address before they will do an upgrade. These stores dont do this so bear it in mind when you buy over the counter.
I'm currently trying to find a contact in the US to speak to but I hold out little hope.
