I disagree completely.

Facebook, like all things in life, is perfectly harmless and can be extremely useful if used sensibly. Unfortunately a lot of people do not use it sensibly, luckily all my friends are adults and do, so for me Facebook is a service not a master.

And do you seriously think that if Facebook was removed from the Internet your daughter's problems would go away? I'm sorry to burst you bubble but that would happen, all she would do is find another social site to get 'addicted' to and the same thing would happen there. And even if you took away the Internet there would still be the problem of text bullying.

This is not Facebook's fault just another symptom of youth, and you just have to live with it until she is mature enough to cope with real life.
