Last September, I made sure during my visit in Norther California that I would be able visit San Francisco again. In 2010 I was there and was able to shoot it at Baker beach. In 2011 however, I wanted to shoot at a proximate place and learned about Marshall Beach. I was really excited to shoot this place again, to my dissapointment the trail leading there was closed due to renovations. Being only there for a few days I braved an alternate trail.
These are my shots of the place.
As the sun neared the horizon, the sea stacks surrounding the place were quite interesting. The place has lot of potential and with its proximity to the city, a good venue for exercising composition for budding landscape photographers.
I stayed till 8pm in this area pushing myself nearer the bridge. The tides were coming in fast. It was really a pleasure shooting such an iconic place. I hope I was able to capture it with fresh eyes and perspective.
