Personally, I say bring it on. I put my images up because a) I like them and b) I want others to tell me where I might improve.
It's all very nice for someone to leave a note that says, "I love it", but it doesn't do anything to improve my techniques.
Maybe I'm alone on this, but I'm a big boy and I can take it, so critique away.
The day you think you've found perfection is the day you stop looking, then someone else will find it and move in front of you.
