This is the trick I used on the old DCM site and it worked here. Can't just remember who gave me the tip at the time but thanks!
It works just the same with images from flickr.
{url="http://address of large image"}{img}
http://address of medium image{/img}{/url}
Replace { with [ and } with ], and make sure you only use " around the first address.
