Which DSLR for Weddings/Wildlife?

Hi,

I have been shooting with a Canon 300D and Sigma lens and the standard kit lens 18-55.

I am now in a position where I would like to upgrade and am not tied in to a specific lens manufacturer.

I have used Canon and Nikon and like them both for different reasons. The Canon produces lovely shots in RAW that need very little tweaking, The Nikon is very easy to use but the RAW shots need far more tweaking. To be honest, if i could get a Nikon camera to produce shots like the Canon in RAW, I would buy a Nikon.

I am keen on wedding (i shoot a lot of friends), wildlife (interest) and low light (I would rather not use flash) photography but do not have mega bucks - I have been looking at the 5D Mk11 (although I do not seem to be able to produce shots that are in focus) and the Nikon D700 - fantastic in low light and easy to use. Weight is also an issue, I need to be able to hold the camera with a flashgun on the top and decent lens.

I would be looking at buying f2.8 24-70 and possibly 70-200 (canon or Nikon)

I do not wish to start a Canon v Nikon debate, I just need some advice on what to buy. It is not my profession, thanks Jaime
