Reminds me of just a couple of weeks ago when the cottage to ours at the lake was hit by lightning and burned down. We went in first to see if there was anything else important to get out.

It also reminds me of my time in the navy (once again Royal Canadian Navy after being named Maritime Command since 1968) reserves. Damage control school was very interesting. They tossed some diesel on water and lit it in a mock superstructure of a ship. We had full flash gear and breathers on. They also started pouring water in "weapon hit" locations. We always sank. No win scenario and all.

Not sure why we were doing it, everyone knows officers do not actually do anything
