Full Moon

Im not sure if this is the right place - it is a 'close up' shot of the moon! (Mods - feel free to move it to somewhere else).

I originally put this in howard09's thread entitled 'The Moon', but realized he was talking about (i think!) landscapes INCLUDING the moon, and the problems faced with specific lighting. So I decided to start a new thread and hopefully if anybody has got any photos of the moon, we can compare settings

Here's a photo I took last week. It's not perfect but it's probably the best one I've taken. I've read some conficting information on the internet, so I dont really know the correct settings to use. I just know that you shouldn't have your shutter open for too long as the moon is moving!

My settings were as follows:

F/11
Focal length - 250 mm
Shutter speed 1/13th sec
ISO 100
taken with tripod and 'live view' (x10 zoom) used to autofocus
cropped quite heavily, hence the small file
