Thanks for all the above advice - actually bought the camera from Calumet and they were very helpful ringing nikon etc. have since had another phone call back from main Calumet office who are going to look into the wrong part that i was advised to get and to see if they can get me a replacement so at least thats something
Hopefully i will have something sorted in time for fireworks - all i have to figure out now is how to get the shot i want
